Rule #10A — HUNT HARD or STAY HOME!
Danny Johnson known to us as Berretta died recently. He hunted with us in Minerva, Johnsburg and here in Piseco. We called him Berretta cause he carried a gun in his boot. To shoot what ? ? No body knows.
He shot the smallest bear ever in Piseco with a .375 H&H Magnum. Three boots long. His kill picture still hands in the camp. We’ll miss him.

36 inch snow pack on the ground. Got 17 in January and 45 in February (62″) The 12 or so we got in December melted from the rain.
The deer have to be hurting. We will lose some of the smaller ones.
We should get up on Stay Away this spring and cut some browse.

The Pie Whore called me to say that old Warren Kempf (In-Udda-Woids) croaked this past Saturday while in the Albany VA. They probably killed him. He was 90
What do you ass holes want to do with his beer mug and coffee mug. I offered it to his family so we’ll first have to wait till I hear from one of them.
We will have a So Co for him when and if we get a spring hike in. Some of you dildo’s will probably have a Tini or a kerosene. And of course a BEER.
The Hobbit is still laughing about when he fell in Panther Mtn stream trying to reach his glasses. I laugh when he tried to shoot the duck hole and shot the tree six feet to the right of the pond. Tobias almost killed him when he pulled the trigger on the way up the mountain testing the safety. SCAREY He’s up there now with the Stork and Greeby Greedy Greenie driving them nuts–In Udda Woids.

Still no snow worth riding on but going up to camp this week end anyway. Might get a short ride to the Bow over the mtn via Spy Lake if possible.
Only 2 months left till I call for the real men of F troop to venture into the unknown. I’m getting soft, so any of you mamby pamby douch bags that cant climb can come up Friday nite to par take of the festivities. Cards, Tini’s and of course So Co.
I thought that we should get a cable up over the south branch before one of you sure shots hits one back here and she goes over to the Metcalf. Otherwise you know what we will have to do without a cable. Like the real men of the Wild Bunch do. I do have a spare boat we can drag along just in case. Its down behind the gravel pit and has to be rescued.
