chip uses ftroop learned hunting skills to apprehend a thief

this just in… while visiting muffin, chips car was broken into. Mad with fury his taught hunting skills kicked in and he decided “to put a drive on” for the thief. After driving approx two blocks he noticed a young female checking door handles on cars. Again his “fred from ace stalking backpacker” skill kicked in. Crowbar in hand he stalked, and confronted the youth. After checking her pockets he found his smokes and cash from his car, not satisfied with just his belongings he also took her extra cash. As muffin said “if he shot her, it would be brown on the ground”. Good job chip, this is a very special badge in consideration.

CHIP!!!! UPDATE!!!! NEWSFLASH!!!!

NEWSFLASH: From sources in the field, it has been reported that Chip acquired a GPS unit it appears, no need to for me lend him mine. At least I won’t get blamed for his next walkabout!

WANTED: Hipboots and waders, for who ever is going to chase Chip to Old Forge!

Ok Chip, a few things:

Good News: I got a new GPS, so if you don’t acquire one before the next venture, you can use my old one.

Bad News: You’ll need to learn how to use it.

Good News: It has LOTS of way-points in it.

Bad News: It will get you within a half-mile of being really, really, lost.

Good News: I placed in it a new way-point last week, just for YOU; the “Fastrac” gas station in Old Forge. (They have hotdogs and batteries there if needed)

Bad News: You’ll run out of batteries way before you get there, and most likely you’ll be wet from crossing more than one South Branch on the way.

Good News: If it’s still the weekend, you can call camp, and we’ll think about sending Spike to get you. (You’ll have to pay for gas, and food for Spike)

Bad News: If it’s Monday, (it’ll prolly be later in the week by the time you get there, if at all) you may need to get a temporary job in Old Forge.

Really-really bad news: If you loose it (the GPS), you might just as well take the “ride” off T-Lake Falls!

Don’t get too excited!

Good News: You won’t have to pay the next weekends camp dues!

YOUR DEN MA MA

We finally got the new confuser. I think I logged on  OK ,  We’ll see if this goes.

Still no snow worth riding on but going up to camp this week end anyway. Might get a short ride to the Bow over the mtn via Spy Lake if possible.

Only 2 months left till I call for the real men of F troop to venture into the unknown. I’m getting soft, so any of you mamby pamby douch bags that cant climb can come up Friday nite to par take of the festivities. Cards, Tini’s and of course So Co.

I thought that we should get a cable up over the south branch before one of you sure shots hits one back here and she goes over to the Metcalf. Otherwise you know what we will have to do without a cable. Like the real men of the Wild Bunch do. I do have a spare boat we can drag along just in case. Its down behind the gravel pit and has to be rescued.
