The Shot heard around the Mountain!

Leaddog says:

Looking at the picture of Polecat’s tree on the banner page….it appears that there are TWO holes….is it true?

I put the photo in question above, along with Polecat’s first victim. Upon close examination I have concluded that “said” tree may have been struck more than once. But I only have the one photo of “said” tree and only one good eye, so what do you guys think?

The photo’s above are of lower quality than the originals. Click on the above images to get a closer view.

Hey Polecat! Do you have anything to add in yer defense?

SPRING HIKE TIME!?

Well boys, it’s almost time to consider our next springtime expedition! The snow is melting, and the leafout will arrive before we know it!
What shall we do…..the “lake” finally? Or another of Polecat’s jaunts to find “what’s out there”…..let’s have some thoughts!

Woof!

Polecat in the News

Leaddog has spotted a news article which quotes our Den MaMa. The article is about concerns area sportsman have about about some current deer harvesting regulations. Our Den MaMa was quoted saying this:

“They are so lazy, they won’t even run in the yards,” said Saratoga County Council Fish and Game Clubs representative Ron Rybicki, who attended the meeting.

This is a subject that will be debated for awhile I’m sure. Maybe we could get Polecat to spread a little knowledge on OUR site every once in awhile. IF HE EVER POST SOMETHING!
We are still waiting for him to write the history of F-Troop. He has time to post on ilsnow.com,(yes, we see that Den MaMa) but not on our site. That hurts Polecat!

This was my response to his email:

That was clearly a imprint YOU made in the snow while YOU took a “break” , Brah. You made the tracks in the snow with your cute ski pole/snowshoeing stick. I saw the pictures. I think I even saw some wine you spilled in the snow, unless you were making snowcones.

Need I say more.
