“In udda words, it’s a giant four pointer!”

While browsing the March 6, 2015  Vol. 11, No. 5 issue of NY Outdoor News, which you cheap dildo’s can subscribe to by clicking hereI came across an article about a guy who got a $1200+ fine for illegally shooting a moose last hunting season. You cheap dildo’s can read the article here. In short, an out of state hunter shot and killed a young bull moose in Lewis County last November. He mistook the young bull for a big whitetail buck. The individual turned himself in that same day. What a cityidot! We joke about it, this guy went out and did it.! Hey Chip, don’t be this guy! 🙂

Surgical Fishing Strike Comes Up Empty!

On 8/30/2014 Two rangers and one R.I.T executed a Brook Trout strike on a very specific section of a very specific stream somewhere in our Happy Hunting grounds. Despite their best efforts the three could not shake the F-Troop Trout Fishing curse. It seems no matter where we go we just can’t seem to find them. The mission was not a total loss we did come across some great fishing holes when conditions are right. Also we have pics of a nice little waterfall. So here is the trivia question of the day, where is pictured waterfall located? Polecat you are not eligible on account of you have insider information!
Good Luck!

2014 NYS Sporting Licenses Changes

Starting February 1, 2014 a new Sporting License fee structure goes into effect. A few examples are the price for Annual Resident Fishing has gone from $29 to $25 and Annual Resident Hunting as gone from from $29 to $22. Combination licenses like the Sportsman, Super Sportsman, and Conservation Legacy will no longer be available. No more discount for buying both. The dates have also changed gone is the October 1 – September 30 and is now September 1 – August 31 for Hunting licenses. Annual fishing licenses purchased after February 1st are now good for 365 days from date of purchase. You can view all the changes on the DEC website here: 2014 Sporting Licenses Changes.
For most of us in camp who used to buy the Sportmans will not see a change in price (for now) but we will now have to purchase two licenses instead. Fishing licenses purchased as part of a Sportsman last year are still valid through September 30, 2014.
